You can choose between different types of lessons when creating a course. Here are the types of lessons available
Text, which is a type of text-only format. It is a text that is extrapolated from the information contained in the document. If you create a course uploading a document, the text format will be a summary of a document chapter. This is beneficial when you have long chapters and you want to make them more short and clear to the end user.
Bullet points, is a bullet list format that allows the content of the lesson to be better schematized. It is very useful for describing actions that require steps or processes. In general, it is very helpful for schematising concepts and can be used effectively to list qualities of products or services.
Quiz, is one of the most interactive formats and directly engages the reader by posing a question and asking users0 to choose from the right answer. This type of lesson is designed to increase user engagement. In fact, in this way the user is asked to perform an action in the lesson, namely to choose which of the answers is the right one. In this way the user will feel more involved and will assimilate better the notions contained in the lesson.
Flashcards, this format resembles a carousel, the end reader will first see the question. Users will see the answer when scrolling it, and finally the explanation. This type of lesson, like the quiz, is designed to increase user engagement. In this case, the user is asked to perform a series of actions that will take him/her from the question, to the answer and then to the explanation of the answer. Furthermore, this action is designed to encourage the user to think not only about the correct answer but also about the explanation of the answer.
Audio , this format is available only on the “Text” and “Bullet Points” type lessons. In these two types of lessons, the audio is implemented by default this means that yoo have both audio and content. However, you can select "Audio only"and this means that you will have only the audio without the written content.
From now on, it will be explained in a detailed way what are the single elements of the several types of lessons.
