This activity is to be selected once the course is published. You can assign a course to people or groups in the company by scheduling it. To do so you have to enter the course, click on “Actions” and then click on “Schedule”.
This schedule allows you to assign a course to people or groups in the Company. To do so, we have to select:
The recipient(s) ;
The start date of the course ;
The time of the start of the course so the time you want the recipient to receive the first notification ;
Time zone ;
Notifications: you can send recipients course notifications either via Email or Teams or both ;
Frequency is based in days and indicates how many times you want to send the notification to recipients. If you enter “2 days” the notification will be sent every other day.
You can also edit a scheduling or delete it by clicking the respective buttons: pencil to edit and bin to delete.
If you click on the edit button the user who had been placed in the "Recipients" will return to the "Assignees". So, it will be possible to moificare the start of the course assignment, date, time zome and attendance.
If you click on the delete button the person will be directly deleted from the “Assignees” and therefore will not receive course notifications.
When a course is scheduled the person or groups of person to whome the course has been assigned will receive a push notification in Teams, reminding them that they have to take the course.
If they click on "Open lesson" they will be directed to the course in SharePoint.
Once the assignee is entered, we have to remember to click the “send” button otherwise the course will not be assigned to the selected user.
Once the schedule is entered, there is also the option to pause it through the “stop” button which allows the schedule status to be switched from “running” to “draft.”
