In courses created "from scratch" you can add lessons just "from scratch"; on the other hand in courses created by uploading a document you can add lessons both "from document" and "from scratch".
When you enter the course created from a document, if you want to add lesson from the document you have to click on “Actions” and then on “New lesson”, there you can choose to add lessons starting from document.
By clicking on the button "From document", if the course was created from a Word document, you will be able to select the lesson type and the chapter of the document you want to use to create the new lesson.
If the course was created by a PDF document, you will be able to choose the lesson type and the pages you want to use to create the new lesson.

When you choose the option “New lesson” and then “from document” the tool will automatically select the information of the document you originally used to create the course. It is not possible to collect information from a different document.
Remember that after you choose all the actions you want to do, it is important to click on “Generate” to add the new lessons to the course.
