If you select the Compact with details layout, you have the possibility of customizing the colors of the calendar. In particolar, you can choose:
The background color (1);
The text color (2);
The color of the pagination and off range days (3);
The color of the current day (4);
The text color of the current day (5).
In addition, you can decide if you want the text of the current day to be in bold.
If you do not customize colors, the web part will use the colors of the intranet graphic theme.
If you select the Compact with details layout, you have the possibility of activating a scroll bar for the information box. If you enable this option, the possibility of setting the height of the info section becomes available. This means that you can set a fixed height for this section and use the scroll bar to read its content. This may be useful when you have long descriptions and you don't want this section to take up too much space.
The Compact with details layout allows you to include a picture in the event details. When creating the event, you can insert a picture by clicking on Attach File in the top bar of the Events - New Item panel. Click on Choose File to upload an image, then press OK.
The possibility of configuring prefilters has been added. Now, the Filter settings section of the web part property pane is divided into two sub-sections:
The filter configurator allows you to add filters to the web part to help users find information quickly. These filters are used to categorize FAQs.
The prefilter configurator allows you to show only FAQs that belong to specific categories.
To configure prefilters, take the following steps:
Click on Configure prefilters.
A dialog box will open with two fields to fill in.
In the first box, you need to choose the filter: select the single option, Categories.
In the second box, you need to insert the categories you want to show, divided by the | symbol.
For example: Disease|Injury
In this example, only the FAQs related to the selected topics (disease and injury) are shown in the web part:
It is now possible to choose the order in which pictures will be displayed. The Order column serves this purpose. To establish the order of images, you need to click on Edit in grid view: this will allow you to edit the items in the document library. Then, assign a number to each picture and click on Exit grid view to save your changes.
The property pane of the web part includes a new section named Dislplay settings. Here you can decide how many cards will be shown on each line.
The first two fields refer to the sections without filters. In the first field, select Yes if you want to choose the number of cards to display on each line. In the second field, enter the number of items you want to see on each line.
The third and the fourth fields refer to the section with filters. If you want a specific number of users to be displayed on each line, repeat the steps described above.
It is now possible to hide the web part when there are no favorites to be displayed. This option is included in the Viewing options section of the property pane.
Thanks to a new option in the Image settings section of the property pane, you can decide to show the name of the tag in the selection of tags to be applied to the profile picture.
Several web part properties have been added to make the component more versatile.

Cross-site configuration is now supported. When configuring the Filters and properties setup section, you need to enter the url of the site where the People directory list is located (usually, it is the hub site of the intranet), and then select the People directory list from the drop-down menu.
Thanks to a recent update, the Pop-up web part works with Viva Connections. Previously, Pop-up was visibile only if you accessed the intranet via web, and not via Teams, because the component relied on cookies (which are not available on Teams) to function properly. Now, pop-up visualizations by users are recorded by a SharePoint list called Popup users. This list should be set up so that all visitors have contribute permissions.
A new section named Playback settings has been added to the property pane of the web part. It allows you to activate the autoplay feature, which is now disabled by default.
