# Viva Connections

## Premises

Viva Connections facilitates internal communication and engagement and fosters a culture of inclusion.

Thanks to Viva Connections, you can set a unique entry point in which to have all the business tools your colleagues need.

## Before starting: materials you'll need to set up Viva Connections

Before starting, please be sure to have these materials available:

* **The name of your intranet site**. It will be shown under the intranet icon in the left bar of Teams. Our suggestion is to make it as short as possible (e.g., “Intranet”).
* **A short description**. You can either decide to personalize it or leave the Microsoft preset.
* **The Privacy Policy URL**. You can either decide to personalize it or leave the Microsoft preset. The best practice is to have your own Privacy Policy. You can also change it at a later time and use, in a first phase, the Microsoft default one.
* **Your website URL**.
* **The Term of Use URL**. You can either decide to personalize it or leave the Microsoft preset. The best practice is to have your own Terms of Use. You can also change it at a later time and use, in a first phase, the Microsoft default one.
* **A longer description**. You can either decide to personalize it or leave the Microsoft preset.
* **A big logo**: 192x192 colored PNG with transparent background.
* **A** **small logo** to be used as icon: 32x32 colored PNG with transparent background.
