Exam generation

In this section, you will learn how to generate the Final Quiz to test the knowledge of the users

Premises

Once you’re happy with the course, you can decide to enable the final quiz. This will allow you to understand how much and how the course has been assimilated by your colleagues. Remember that in the Final Quiz it will be generated a quiz for each lesson of the course. So, if a course consists of 30 lessons , in the Final Quiz there will be 30 quizzes. In addition, the quiz-type of lessons in the course will also be repeated in the Final Quiz.

First generation

To generate the Final quiz, you must enter the course and click on the top and right "Actions", then you must click on "Generate final quiz".

After having clicked on that button a panel like the following will open:

If you want to generate the final quiz, click on “Generate”, whereas if you do not want to click on “Cancel”.

If you click on “Generate” the course will go on the “Generating” status and after 2/3 minutes the Final Quiz will be generated.

The final quiz consists of quizzes with multiple answers, the difference with the quiz-type lesson is that in the final quiz there is no explanation of the correct answer.

Management of the exam

Once the final quiz has been generated, it can be edited by entering the course and clicking on "Actions," "Final quiz," and then "View final quiz."

Once you click on "View final quiz", the following panel will open:

An overview of all the questions can be viewed on the left.

On the right side, however, it is possible to view the details of the individual question. You can switch from one question to another thanks to the arrows available in the top center of the panel.

In the left column, you can change the order of the quizzes by clicking on the button shown in the picture and dragging the quiz to the desired location.

In addition, you can also delete the quiz by clicking on "Delete."

Also, you can click on the desired quiz on the left side to edit it via the configuration on the right-hand side.

In detail, you can change the quiz question by clicking on it and the individual answers again by clicking on it.

In addition, individual answers can be deleted, or the ordering can be shifted.

Thanks to a drop-down choice on the bottom right side, you can also select the correct answer.

At the end it is important to click on "Save" to save the changes.

Regeneration of the final quiz

The final quiz can also be completely regenerated. This option is useful when none of the quizzes appeal to us.

To regenerate the final quiz simply enter the course, click on "Actions," "Final quiz," and "Regenerate final quiz."

After having clicked on that button, a panel like the following will open:

If you want to regenerate the final quiz, click on “Generate”, whereas if you do not want to, click on “Cancel”.

If you click on “Generate” the course will go on “Generating” status and after 2/3 minutes the Final Quiz will be generated as new.
